Yesterday was an insane day. I was running along, completely focused on my podcast, when suddenly, WHOOSH!. My phone slid right out of my grip. It hit the ground with a loud crack and I felt a pang of fear.
Luckily, my trusty device was miraculously unharmed. There was a small dent, but it's still in tip-top shape.
I guess sometimes you just get lucky and your phone is tougher than you think. It definitely learned a lesson. I’m relieved to have my phone back in one piece!

So I/my buddy/we were just chillin', right? Totally oblivious to/about the world. I was scrolling through/checking out/watching a crazy video. Suddenly, my phone decides to make a dramatic escape straight onto the ground/to the floor/off the table. My heart practically stopped. I braced myself for the worst.
